Think Bigger
Fontys aims to be an educational institution that encourages students
‘to grow through offering attention and challenges’. Fontys wishes to be
an educational organisation in which students can grow and learn to
think bigger. Fontys aims to achieve this goal by offering attention and
challenges for its students, staff and stakeholders.
Fontys invests in intensive, challenging, fascinating and well-organised
education. The competence-based education offered at Fontys is built
around the three core competences knowledge, skills and professional
attitude. In this way, students are thoroughly prepared for professional
practice or self-employment.
Internship
Students at Fontys are motivated, active and entrepreneurially-spirited,
investigate their own capacities and demonstrate a professional
attitude. The study is highly practically-oriented. The close ties with
practice have been shown to be highly motivating for most students of
higher professional education. Against that background, internships form
an important component of every study programme. Fontys students have a
great deal to offer an organisation. They are internationally-oriented,
and bring with them state-of-the art knowledge, research skills and
wealth of new, refreshing ideas. It is therefore no surprise that
motivated students are increasingly being called upon to undertake
practice-based internships, assignments and/or research projects. On the
site www.fontys.nl , under the heading ‘employers’, your business can
make it known that you are on the lookout for new interns, or publicise
internship placements.
